DMC Hotels
Hospitality and Hotels
Managing several dozen hotels across the continental United States, Dhillon Management Co. (DMC) Hotels provides quality lodgings while maintaining profits. The company has pulled several failing hotels out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy since opening its doors in 2004, led by experts in the field including co-owners Bobby and Jag Dhillon and Chief Operating Officer Scott Nadel, a 20-year hotel industry veteran. DMC Hotels is based in Frisco, Texas, with the majority of its properties located in Texas and other Southern states. The company also manages hotels in Iowa, Ohio, Colorado, and Nevada.
DMC Hotels’ properties come from a number of different franchises. A large number of its properties are Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses. Nine of these are located in Texas, with two others in Nevada and Oklahoma. DMC Hotels' second major chain is Hampton Inn, of which there are three in Texas, two in Oklahoma, and one in Colorado. Other franchises with properties managed by DMC Hotels include AmeriHost Inn, La Quinta, Country Hearth, Chisolm Suites, and Comfort Suites.
In the half-decade since its foundation DMC Hotels has earned numerous accolades, maintained high scores across all areas of quality analysis, and continued to expand its operations across the South, West, and Midwest. In 2004, 2005, and 2006, Intercontinental Hotel Group, a company including more than 4,150 hotels worldwide, recognized DMC Hotels with its Intercontinental Hotel Group Quality Excellence Award. DMC Hotels also supports a number of Intercontinental Hotel Group-approved charities, primarily organizations and funds supporting children’s health, through balloon sales at the front desks of its properties.
